1. Muslims cant apply for citizenship for India anymore?

Ans. Any foreigner from any foreign country seeking to be an Indian citizen can apply for the same under the existing laws. there is no bar for Muslims from anywhere in the world to seek Indian citizenship under existing laws

2. Can future non-muslim refugees take advantage of CAA?

Ans. No, this act is only for Hindus, Sikhs, Jains, Buddhists, Parsis, and Christians that have been in the country before 31st December 2014. Hindus after this date have to apply for asylum/citizenship via normal laws and not CAA

3. Non-muslim refugees will not need any documents?

Ans. They need to produce evidence of being refugees as well

4. Assam and leftist protests are for the same reasons?

Ans. No, Assam is protesting because it wants a more strict CAA. it wants the cutoff point to be 1971, instead of 2014, and remove all immigrants from Assam irrespective of religion
